Subject:

Barbara Boxer, Democrat, California Senator

External Links:

Polite Political Discourse Failures:
  1. Accusing Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan of conducting a war against women.
  2. Saying that the Republican Party has a sickness.
  3. Suggesting that Republicans don't like their mothers or first wives.
Direct Quotes:

“There is a war against women, and Romney and Ryan — if they are elected — would become its top generals”
“There is a sickness out there in the Republican Party, and I’m not kidding. Maybe they don’t like their moms or their first wives; I don’t know what it is.”

Commentary:
This is my first post and let me be clear about the intent.  I'm not saying that Boxer has no right to say these things.  I'm pointing out that Boxer is actively participating in the invective that some believe is ruining politics.  All of her quotes are insults and don't address the issues.
